Desperate Housewives
October 29, 2008
That creepy white haired guy is frightening me! From the very first time I saw his light blue eyes and the show made it seem as though he was going to kill that old man, I was scared. What’s his problem? Ok so he has an anger management problem as he moved back to Wysteria Lane to get revenge on someone. A man. But who?
I didn’t watch DHw back when it first started but kind of knew the beginning. I was thinking that maybe he was going to get revenge on Brie’s son who killed someone. But then I found out it was actually Carlos’ mother. And that’s another thing. I just found out Brie’s son killed Carlos’ mother?! WTH? And no one ever told Gabby? They would be so furious at Brie’s family for hiding that.
Anyway, the show’s at great as always and can’t wait to see the rest of the season ![]()
Passions
October 25, 2008
I miss my Passions. When, oh when, will a tv channel air past episodes for us Passions fanatics? Turns out Jer died recently. He was the one to blame anyway. Makes me think what would have happened if the last episode of Passions turned out to be now. Would someone have stepped in and said “Hey, this is a really stupid mistake letting Passions go!” Even the characters were saddenned.
Sure I can watch “Luis” and “Ethan” and I think even “Rebecca” on Days of Our Lives but its not the same at all. Where is my Ethan and Theresa? I saw them together for like a 1/2 hr in the last episode and they left us all dry and sad and crying our eyes out. WTH?
I miss Passions
I cried when they showed the whole cast with the balloons with Timmy’s voice singing. I’m so sad now.
Prison Break
October 24, 2008
I like the wit on how Michael Scofield derived a strategy for their mission. The way he plan things out is amazing. Like the first season of Prison Break, Michael had himself tattooed which serves as the blue print of the prison they are in. He wants to save his brother Lincoln and break from this prison. Everything and every moves are his strategy to come up for the day they will escape. Each execution have time frame. If they will miss it, the plan will fail. He recuit other prisoners as his allies that will help him to execute his plan.
I like the fast facing of the story. It always surprises me. At the end of the season 1, they escape from the prison cell. I recommend this series to watch for. It’s better to watch the very beginning.
Heroes
October 24, 2008
When the first time I’ve watch the first episode of this series, I can say that I love it. I love the storyline, the characters and the graphics. Each characters have their own special abilities like flying, absorbing other powers, healing and painting the future. They are not ordinary people because of their abilities. Some characters used it to save the world while others cause a destruction. The actors and actresses done a great job in portraying their own part.
The graphic and special effects were done pefectly as it seems to be true. The facing of the story is fast. There are lots of discoveries and unexpected happenings. I like the way their story flows. Heroes is a good TV series of this time.
Chuck, Heroes hit ratings lows
October 15, 2008
Once-promising Monday lineup of Chuck, Heroes getting pummeled in the ratings department; critics slam Heroes.
Remember last year when NBC touted Monday nights as “Bionic Mondays”? The network had a can’t-miss evening of entertainment–at least according to the advertising–anchored by new series Chuck, the sophomore season of the smash hit Heroes, and the super revved-up Bionic Woman remake. It was the night that would help bring NBC back up from the bottom of the pile, regain some swagger, and usher in a new era.
Well, maybe not so much.
Bionic Woman was canceled after tanking with viewers and critics, Heroes redefined “sophomore slump” and then some, and Chuck, as lovable as he is, was hit hard by the writers strike. Flashing forward to this season, things don’t appear to be much better for NBC’s Mondays.
Heroes and Chuck hit all-time lows for ratings this past Monday (8.2 million, 4.0/9 for Heroes and 5.8 million, 2.3/8 for Chuck), according to The Hollywood Reporter, which should be a red flag for NBC. (Heroes averaged more than 11 million last season.) And before you point out that both Monday Night Football and Major League Baseball playoff games were also on that evening, it should be noted that CBS’ comedy block of Two and a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory were all up over the previous week and all outperformed Heroes.
The real shocker of NBC’s Monday nights is the continuing slide of Heroes. This past Monday’s episode seems to have been the last straw for many critics, who are jumping ship as if the superhero drama has “Titanic” written on its side. Says The Chicago Tribune: “That’s it, Heroes, I’m done” (and that’s just the headline). The New York Post: “I fear that Heroes has traveled beyond the point of redemption.” And Time: “I may be on the verge of giving up on Heroes, if I haven’t already given up on it somewhere deep inside.”
It appears as if many Heroes faithful are doing the same. Heroes is consistently one of TV.com’s top shows (it’s number one again today), but seeing this precipitous drop-off for what was supposed to be the drama’s rejuvenating season can’t really be blamed on digital video recorders, live sports broadcasts, or a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top.
We desperately want Heroes to find its way back to season-one quality, but we’re getting a bit frustrated, too. That scene where future Sylar’s son dies is the most unintentionally funny bit of television in recent memory (oh little boy, we hardly knew ye). Cheese factor 10, captain. And don’t get us started on Maya, the new Mohinder, and Matt Parkman’s spirit trip. Where are you guys in your Heroes watching?

Survivor Philippines
September 23, 2008
This is such a great show. I love the concept though it was just a copied one from the original Survivor show. The host was really a good one. He’s the best one in this kind of show. Though the other so called cast away was almost showing some tensions between them I think it was just human and anyone will be irritated if you are in that situation. So I might better continue watching this one.
