Dog the Bounty Hunter (2004)

Dog the Bounty Hunter is a reality television show on A&E. Duane Chapman (Dog) and his family specialize in catching fugitives. Most of the cases they take on are located in Hawaii.

The majority of their cases consist of a fugitive who either forgot to go to court, or is trying to skip bail. Dog and his family have to contact family, friends of the fugitive to let them know of the seriousness of the situation. The sad part is family members have put their homes up for bond to ensure appearance in court.

Dog’s job is to bring them back to jail. His job is very dangerous because he has no idea what the fugitive might do when caught. The only protection Dog and family have are pepper spray, defensive training and handcuffs.

Even though Dog is a bounty hunter, he has a sensitive side. When he catches the fugitive he gives them their last cigarette and good advice. He let’s them know that the path they are following is a path he had to once cross.

Every episode has a lot of valuable lessons. Even though you make mistakes, you can correct them, but you have to face them first.
