January 13, 2010

Michael C Hall is most famous for his role in the 2006 premier and continued showing of Dexter. As Dexter, he fights crime and puts the criminals away as they should be.

Michael C Hall or Dexter, announced that he is now battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer. This is a treatable form of cancer. Dexter (aka Michael C Hall) is optimistic and in good spirits for beating the cancer and having a strong and full recovery from the disease.

Dexter announced at the press conference that he has been treated for the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer and is now in full remission. The cancer will not interfere with his acting or social career. He is supported by his fans and his loving family.

Star Trek the 2009 Movie

January 13, 2010

I really enjoyed watching the television series, Star Trek. I couldn’t wait until the 2009 Star Trek movie would come out into the local theaters here. I waited with anticipation from the first day I saw the previews on television.

The acting in Star Trek movie was quite exceptional. There were bits and points that were quite humorous. The movie started out actually quite funny.

However, I found myself bored and ready to get up and leave. I wanted to ask for a refund of my money. The movie Star Trek gives the background and life of the USS Enterprise team during their early years. It tells how they all ended up together on the prized and infamous ship.

The story line was dull, boring and very predictable… and that is being polite. It was extremely disappointing to watch. I couldn’t believe all the hype and excitement I felt prior to getting to see the movie.

Even though the acting was good, there just wasn’t a whole lot for the actors and actresses to work with when it comes to the script. You can save your money and skip this movie. You will save yourself a lot of disappointment.

White Out Movie Review

January 13, 2010

Kate Beckinsale stars as the lead detective who has taken a post in Anartica to essentially escape a horrible past. Her primary crimes are simple to solve and nothing noteworthy. That is until it’s almost time for the sun to set for 6 solid months in Anartica. A string of murders leads to an investigation that is filled with twists, turns and the unexpected.

I was initially a little bored when White Out started. I knew that it was going to be one of those typical who-done-it crime movies that would be easy to figure out by the half-way point. Wow was I ever wrong.

After about 10 minutes, White Out became very intense and suspenseful. I found myself biting my tongue to keep from yelling at the movie screen to help the movie stars out. You can easily get that wrapped up in White Out that you forget you’re sitting in the movie theater.

I won’t give away the ending. But I can tell you it is probably NOT who you think it is.

Sherlock Holmes New Movie

January 4, 2010

Hold onto your seat belts for this 2 and half hour film in movie theaters now, Sherlock Homes. You’ll be entertained with delight by Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan as the acting cast for Sherlock Holmes.

I was a little skeptical at first. The reviews in my local area weren’t that great. A few friends went to see Sherlock Holmes and said they loved it. One friend talked on and on about Sherlock Holmes for over an hour. I just knew then I had to break down and go see it. Boy am I glad that I did!

Great detective work against Blackwood and some good punches always help to solve a case. You think you’ve got it all figured out when you watch Sherlock Holmes only to find out that there is more of the unexpected that you’d never have guessed.

This is definitely a must-see movie for the new year. You don’t want to miss out on this at all.

Halloween II — Worth the View

January 3, 2010

If you didn’t watch the first Halloween movie, you’re going to want to rent it. Halloween II is full of suspense, but it won’t be nearly as good if you haven’t watched the first one. You will be completely lost.

The second Halloween doesn’t exactly follow like you might initially think. There is suspense, character connection and a riveting ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I found the movie to be very intense. It started out a bit slow and then it moved right along to being very intense. Halloween is the story of Michael and his connection to his mother. This version revolves around the book that the psychologist of this notorious serial killer releases to the public.

I won’t ruin the ending for you. It is a must see to put on your list of movies.
