A Thousand Months

A Thousand Months is an interesting movie that portrays the life of a Muslim family which dwells in small Moroccan village. The story revolves around a small boy of that family, named Mehdi. It is an emotional picture that takes place in teh holy month of Ramadan. The family moves from Casablanca to a small village in so that they can meet Mehdi’s father who is in prison but, Mehdi has been told that his father is in France. The film is full of emotional scenes. For example when Amina, Mehdi’s mother, goes to see his father at the prison, she is dragged off by a crude police officer. The film also contains some humorous occasions, for example whenever the villagers gather to watch a television show, the power supply goes off in the middle of the show. Overall, it is a nice story and the marvelous direction has given it wings. You should watch this movie because i am sure you will enjoy it.
