Miley Cyrus Denied Quitting ‘Hannah Montana’

The reports that Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray cyrus are quitting “Hannah Montana” have been denied by both Miley Cyrus herself and Disney. Miley Cyrus said that she is fully committed to the show and she is not going to quit it anytime soon.
Miley told People magazine,”I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people. I couldn’t do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way.”
Patti McTeague, a Disney spokeswoman for the “Hannah Montana” show said, “We’re thrilled with it, and we know everyone’s working hard, and Miley herself has said she’s committed to the long-term success, as are we”
‘The Hills’ Spin-Off Gets Green Light

It was reported that MTV is going to bring “The City”, “The Hills” spin-off, into materialization. E! News confirmed the development of the reality series spin-off. They mentioned that pickup has been finished in the last two weeks, though the publication date has not been announced.
The new series revolves arount the life of Lauren Conrad’s friend.It is being said that the show will start shooting very soon as a source quoted by E! says,”They will start shooting immediately.”
‘Astro Boy’ Release Date Announced

It has been announced that “Astro Boy” will be hitting the theaters on October 23, 2009. Rob Friedman, Co-Chairman and CEO of Summit Entertainment, and Erin Corbett, President of U.S. Imagi Studios, revealed on Monday, September 22, that both the studios are planning the final details on marketing.
Friedman said on this occassion, “We are pleased to bring the exceptional world of Astro Boy to the big screen for movie-goers in North America. We have lined up some key marketing partners for the film and our October date allows us to put the film out at the right time enabling our partners to reach their targeted audiences with on-going marketing programs tied to the film.”
Astro boy will be coming to the theaters right before the horror movie “Saw V” and Disney’s hit movie “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”, which will be released on Friday, October 24.
Rachel Bilson Set to Star in ‘Waiting for Forever’

It was reported that Rachel Bilson has been chosen to play as the female lead in James Keach’s romantic drama, “Waiting For Forever”. The movie is set to start shooting Salt Lake City at the end of september.
The story features young man who’s happy without a job and decides to spend the rest of his life with his love. There are no announcement on who will play the role of male lead.
Last time Rachel was seen in jumper playing the role of Millie Harris. She has also worked in upcoming film “New York, I Love You”, which will be released on February 13.
“Bond, James Bond” Dropped Off

It is said that James Bond fans will be missing Bond’s trademark line “Bond, James Bond”. It was reported in the Independent that agent 007’s trademark selfintroduction has been dropped from the movie because it did’nt worked like what the filmmakers expected.
Director Marc Foster explained that actually this line has been written in the script.”There was a ‘Bond, James Bond’ in the script”. He then added, “There are several places where we shot it as well, but it never worked as we hoped.”
U.K. Trailer of ‘Bride Wars’ Debuts

It was reported that an international trailer of “Bride Wars” has been released. It shows the story of two best friends who get in clash with one another due to one wedding plan mistake, the trailer reveales that how close the two friends, Liv and Emma, are, then it shows that how their friendship takes turn becomes worst than ever.
Liv and Emma are best friends since school time. Liv and Emma are are always there for each other in all the hardships of life. When they get engaged, they plan their weddings which will take place at their dream wedding location, the Plaza Hotel. But one big mistake put’s the friendship to test as neither one of them will step aside for the other’s happiness.
Featuring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway as the two best friends Liv and Emma , “Bride Wars” is directed by Gary Winick from the script by June Diane Raphael, Casey Wilson, Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith.

Hollywood Reporter has said that Keira Knightley is encircling the leading lady role as tempestuous Zelda Sayre by involving in a negotiation for the part. She has recently worked in “Duchess”, which was released on September 19, in World War I drama epic “Atonement” and in Alessandro Baricco’s adapted novel “Silk”. She also played Elizabeth Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice”.
D.J. Caruso Offers New Twist for ‘Y: The Last Man’

Although adopted from Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s comic book series having the same name, “Y: The Last Man” will be present several fresh twists for fans. It has been revealed by the director D.J. Caruso that one of the changes will show a deeper connection between Yorick and Ampersand.
Caruso said ,”One big change is that we put in a ‘ticking clock’ with Yorick and Ampersand and I separated them, and Yorick starts to get a little sick when Ampersand’s not with him. I felt like we needed some kind of ticking clock so it wasn’t just a boy and his monkey.”
Inspite of several changes it has been insisted by the filmmakers that the movie will offer the same opening like its original book.
‘Quantum of Solace’ Soundtrack Cover Revealed

NEWS — The CD artwork for “Quantum of Solace” original motion picture soundtrack has been revealed. It shows James Bond and Camille walking away from a buring Dominic Greene’s headquarters at a distance. It was said that the art has been inspired by the finale of the 22nd Bond film when Agent 007 with the lead villain and General Medrano at their Bolivian desert hide-out, Perla De Las Dunas.
The soundtrack will be containing music from composer David Arnold who has also composed four times before in other James Bond films.

Winners of the 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards have been revealed on Sunday, September 21. Some of them are some of whom are Dianne Wiest, Zeljko Ivanek, Jeremy Piven, and Jean Smart.
Piven said on this occassion “These are strange times for all of us. To be a working actor is an unbelievable gift. None of this is lost on me”. He then added, “What if I just kept talking for 12 minutes - what would happen? That was the opening.”
