Prom Night - Over Rated Film

The other night i excitedly rented the film Prom-night. It received raves from every single person I know that went to go see this film in theaters. However I was fairly disappointed with the quality of the story line. The story line lacked depth and attention to detail. Some scenes just left you wondering and you had to come up with your own conclusion to things, which was annoying and confusing. When I pay to see a film i expect to be kept at the edge of my seat the whole way through, this movie did not offer this. Most scenes were derived from one the first very first scenes in the movie where to killer is murdering Britney Snows mother. Frankly, there is just too much piercing to the ears with girls high pitched screaming in practically every scene of the movie, very annoying. I do not recommend this film if you like thrillers, this movie is more of a chase the psycho sort of movie. Not something I would willingly waste my money another time.
