Invasion

This is a remake of the 1956 movie “The Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”

A space shuttle crashes back to earth, bringing back with it a dangerous bacteria. The bacteria infects people through body fluids, such as spit and vomit. When the nfected person goes into r.e.m. sleep then the bacteria takes over. This is where the remake differs from the original. There are no pods in this version, the person just goes under a transformation of sorts, with stringy stuff covering their body during the process. The person loses their personality and all emotions.

A psychiatrist finds out that one of her patients and her son are safe from the infection due to a severe strain of chicken pox. With this news, she tries to get her son to safety so that a cure could be made from his blood. She is already infected and is doing anything she can to stay awake. If they are caught, she will be forced to sleep and her son will be killed.

Finally, after almost being caught several times, the two of them reach safety and one year later, everyone is cured but can not remember what happened.
