What if you came to a town, stayed over night and then learned you couldn’t ever leave or you would die? Welcome to Rockwell Falls, population 436.

The opening scene shows a man dying when he tries to get out of town and a baby being born.

This town has a dark secret, one that Steve Cady, a surveyor for the US Census Bureau finds out the hard way. Sent to peaceful Rockwell Falls to find out why the population hasn’t changed in a hundred years, Steve learns the truth of the matter. Determined to leave and take a young girl who also wants to leave with him, Steve starts having bad dreams of a car crash. Finally, the two are able to leave and start out driving fast on the main highway past the town, elated that they are free. That is until the big truck hits their vehicle and kills them.

The end scene shows Steve and the girl dying in the car crash and twins being born in the town.
