“Then She Found Me”

Helen Hunt stars as April Epner, a school teacher who is separated from her husband Ben, played by Matthew Broderick. April’s life is beginning to crumble, as her adopted mother dies and her marriage falls apart. She’s having a mid-life crisis and wants more than anything to have a baby.

April’s birth mother, Bernice, played by Bette Midler, gets in touch with her. Bernice is a zany radio host and brings a lot of change into April’s life. April meets Frank, played by Colin Firth, the father of one of her students. She starts dating him. Her life, once simple, starts to spin out of control.

“Then She Found Me” is rated R for language and some sexual content. Judging by the trailer and the cast of actors, this looks like an excellent movie.
