Street Kings’ Trailer

Has anyone seen the Street Kings’ trailer yet? What did you think about it? My first impression of the trailer of Street Kings is that this is going to be an action-packed movie! The trailer made sure of that point. However, I didn’t really get to understand what the movie is about by watching the trailer. The trailer was just a nicely put together video about the exciting action sequences of the movie. But it failed to convey the plot of Street Kings.

Based on my research on the Internet, Street Kings is about a cop named Tom Ludlow (played by Keanu Reeves). He is having a hard time dealing with the death of his wife and at the same time was framed for the killing of another cop. The movie will show the culture of the company he works for and thus question the loyalty of the people around him. When I watched the trailer, I didn’t get any of that at all. I thought that Keanu Reeves was supposed to be a bad cop and not a good cop who was framed for the death of another officer.

Anyway, I will still watch the movie because of the action sequence and how the trailer was done. Also, it is a star studded cast with Hugh Laurie, Forrest Whitaker, Chris Evans, and not to mention Keanu Reeves. Even without the nice plot story, watching the film will at least be entertaining with all the guns blazing and all the police chase!
