We decided to head to the movie theater instead of renting a movie. There are a lot of good choices out there. Vantage Point caught my eye because of the reviews. Each time I saw the preview trailer on the television, I knew that I just had to go see this movie!
After getting into the theater and all settled in, I was anxious and excited. The movie starts off very dramatic and action packed. You are immediately drawn into the characters and the setting. After the first 10 minutes though, be prepared to sit through the action again and again. Literally. Were they on a tight movie budget?
The primary scene where the president is assassinated repeats from a different character’s point of view. So you are seeing the exact same scene over and over with a few little different twists and a little bit of information. This technique, I don’t enjoy. I felt as though the entire movie could’ve been shot and told in about 20 minutes.
I give this movie a 3 out of 5 stars.
