One of America’s famous historical ghost stories is told on the big screen … based on the true story of the only case in US history where a ghost caused the death of a man. Based in 1818, this classic retelling with some modern ancestral carry-over, is a fabulously well done, well crafted, scary movie within a classic horror context. Elements of the Exorcist, Amityville, and the Crucible … this movie will stun you. Its the story of John Bell who supposedly gets cursed by his witch-of-a-neighbor, but only turns out to be tormented by the poltergeist that seeks revenge for other horrors he created. One of the best ghost story films out there. Must see! Rating: 5 stars out of 5.
