Ice Age: The Meltdown Movie Review

 

 

Ice Age part 2 was ok at best, it wasn’t excellent. I love the first movie but this one seemed like it was made just because there was still more money to squeeze out of the franchise. The movie wasn’t necessary and it seemed like it had no where to go but they decided to make it anyway. The only one’s who will think it’s the best thing ever is children under 9.

For this feature the main character’s are back including that poor Scrat who can never seem to get that darn acorn. The animals are happy to see that the ice age is over and that under all the melting ice is a lush and beautiful new world.

However there are drawbacks including the huge damn that’s about to wash everything away in their valley. The only thing that they can do is make their way across the very dangerous valley to try and reach the other side.

It is something to entertain the kids but nothing more than that.
