PG-13, 2005

Just before WWII, a young Japanese girl is torn away from her sister and her parents and put into servitude in a Geisha house. Teased and framed in trouble, her path as a Geisha becomes destroyed until she regains faith from a act of kindness from a General. It gives her faith and hope - and she chooses to become a Geisha - doors open up, and she’s soon on a path to be the Japanese Artist known as Geisha. She puts the most powerful men at awe by her beauty, art, and accomplishment while struggling for her secret love for the man to gave her hope. Its a fantastically crafted movie and hits the heart with eyes full of tears. I highly recommend seeing it. Review Rating of a 4 1/2 out of 5.
